What our customers are saying about Biewer Pole:

"We were purchasing southern yellow pine poles but Red Pine is straighter. The linemen say Red Pine poles are easier to climb. Also, it’s handy for us to deal with Biewer, because they are local. We really like Biewer and Red Pine poles."

Mike Zierer
Price Electric
Phillips, WI

"I know when I receive a load of Biewer’s Red Pine poles I won’t have to worry about my coworkers complaining about straightness. Biewer’s Poles always come in straight as arrows. Linemen like the climb ability of them. That makes two headaches I don’t have to worry about when buying our utility poles."

Dale Vrba

Why Biewer Pole?
As a division of Biewer Lumber, Biewer Pole capitalizes on complete vertical integration of Biewer Lumber's resources to increase cost savings and efficiency. Biewer Pole is committed to being the best in the utility pole business. With control over procurement, production and treating, we are able to consistently deliver the highest quality products to our customers.

We employ foresters who help manage and maintain the quality of Red Pine forests through our Private Landowner Assistance Program. Our foresters hand-select the best Red Pine logs for utility pole applications. The straightest logs are prepared and treated at our state-of-the-art facility in Prentice, Wisconsin. We continually upgrade our equipment and systems in response to new market trends and growing needs of our customers.

Biewer poles are treated in a climate-controlled environment to promote fixation. Our process ensures all chemicals stay in the plant, and eliminates the risk of frozen poles in the field.

Treated poles are delivered to customers or stocked in inventory for emergency demand. Because of our centralized distribution locations, we can get to where you are in a reasonable timeframe—usually within 24-48 hours.

Biewer Pole specializes in CCA pressure-treated Red Pine utility poles, and a select amount of Southern Yellow Pine treated utility poles, available in ET, Extra and CCA-C.
